ZIPPO 1955 USS SIBONEY CVE-112 US NAVY ESCORT AIRCRAFT CARRIER in service 1945 – 1949, then again 1950 – 1956. Reclassified as AKV-12 in 1959. NEW ZIPPO REPAIRED HINGE. Lighter case has scratches, scuffs, dings from handling and use.
New strong Zippo hinge, original insert with good cam, new flint.

We are trying again to resume our International Sales.
The US Post Office has returned some international shipments as being prohibited(flammable). In an attempt to show that the Zippos are not flammable, all lighters will be shipped with the insert included but removed from the case.
The flint screw and flint will be included in a separate envelope for installation by the purchaser. The US Customs form will state “Zippo” with an explanation that the lighter is empty, no fluid, non-flammable. Hopefully this satisfies the US Postal Inspectors and International shippers.
