    Description

    This auction is for 1 - vintage miniature oil lamp with cardinal on tree figurine. The wick is in tact and adjusts with a turn of the circular metal piece behind the cardinal's tail feathers. Delicate glass globe fits securely. Bottom section of globe is frosted, top half is clear. This oil lamp measures 8" in height. The base is 3.5" at its widest point. The bottom of this piece is marked "ELBRO" and also reads, "HAND DECORATED". There is a crown in the center that includes the word "JAPAN". I can find no breaks, chips, or cracks. I do want to mention that the red paint on the cardinal appears to be thin in some areas revealing a bit of white.This was my mother's. She kept her bird collection in a china cabinet with glass front. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
