Vintage Japanese Hand-Painted Silk Fan - Excellent in Original Box
This lovely hand-painted fan is from a large estate collection of Japanese art and collectibles.  It is believed to be from the Post War period (1947-1951) as the owner lived in Japan during that time.  Pink hand-painted flowers rest on black silk with the top of the fan hand painted with a silver border.  A double tassel red cord with Japanese knot hangs from a silver ring at the bottom.  When open, the fan is 18" wide and 11-1/2 " tall.
