A Very nice and unique Vintage late 1800s Ice Fishing Box w/ Handlines that are from a Maine Estate Clean out.
This box has been handed down for several years and was made by a great, great uncle for ice fishing here in Maine.
The box measures 17 " long X 8 1/2 " wide and is 11 1/2 " tall.
It has a raised bottom.
Inside it holds 7 , 13 1/2 " long handmade handlines with hooks and sinkers and a handmade strainer.
The hooks also look as though they could be handmade as well.
This is in excellent condition for its age as can be seen in the pics.
A very kewl and unique handmade fishing item from the past to add to a display or collection.
