These ornaments would be a great gift for that Riverfest collector friend or relative.
Buy all three ornaments for just .  Wichita Festivals Inc. only issued ornaments in 1996, 1997 and 1998. The 1996 ornament depicts the very popular Wichita River Festival Windwagon.  Because of the popularity, this ornament is very hard to find. The ornament has a 3D effect in that the windwagon cover is offset about 1/4 inch above the windwagon.  The 1997 ornament depicts the Wichita skyline with fireworks in the background. The fireworks is offset about 1/4 inch behind the skyline.  The 1998 ornament artwork is very similar to the 1996 50 year anniversary button.  A 3D effect is provided by a 1/4 inch offset of the blue, green and gold stars above the red star. The ornaments are costly and difficult to fabricate and consequently originally sold for . I believe the ornaments never met sales expectancies and profitability and were discontinued in 1998 for these reasons.  Because of the rarity, they are now special for serious Wichita Riverfest collectors.
The ornaments are approximately 3 inches in size. All three ornaments are new in the box and have attached ribbons for hanging. The pictures do not give the ornaments justice. The 1996 ornaments are not dated but I bought them in 1996 when they were issued.  "Wichita River Festival" is stamped on the back of the 1996 ornament in small letters as shown in picture 6.
