Only close ratio gear kit available in the market for the FD3S RX-7 transmission that uses the original transmission housing, bearings and synchros, and gives very close ratios, perfect for circuit or road racing.  Components made of hardened forged steel of higher strength than the OEM parts being replaced, thus capable of withstanding higher torque levels than the OEM specs (although the OEM transmission is known to be bulletproof, so the components in this kit are even stronger).

PRODUCT NOTES:
- Included: Strengthened Main Shaft
- Genuine Mazda Spacer (R502-17-316) & aftermarket Roller Bearing (R502-17-306A) needed for this installation are included. The installation consists of simply exchanging the older parts in the transmission with these new pieces. OEM installation manual is highly recommended to have upon installation.
- This kit changes your existing OEM 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th gear's ratios. Your existing 4th gear is a straight-through power transmission path that does not use any reduction or multiplication gears (1:1, direct clutch to tailshaft connection through the transmission's main shaft) so that remains unchanged with this kit.
