Lovely 20s bisque half-doll holding letter

Description

A really pretty, delicate lady in the fashion of the 1820s. Her brown hair is enhanced with a yellow plume and her face is skillfully handpainted. She has open hands and holds a letter or a card. She measures 3” (76 mm) high and is incised with number 3647. You can see her on page 277 of the Encyclopedia of Half-Dolls by Frieda Marion and Norma Werner. She is in pristine condition with no damage to her fingers. She will ship Priority registered airmail for in Europe and anywhere else in the world.
