GERMANY 7 Antique CHINA HEAD DOLL Fabric Body 8-1/2" Long UPDATED DRESS Nice!
An antique China Head Doll marked Germany 7.
We are pleased to present this adorable antique Doll for your consideration. She has a china head, hands, and shoes, with a fabric body that shows the expected signs of age, but remains in great shape. She is dressed in a newer floral pattern dress with cheerful lavender trim.
The Doll is impressed

on her back as shown in picture 3. The china hands have the raised number

visible near the junction with the fabric arms. The feet have a raised
V
at their junction with the fabric legs (see pictures 4 and 10). We did not find any other identifying marks. She measures 8-1/2 inches in length (measured from the top of her head to the bottom of her shoes), and weighs 3.2 ounces.
The condition of the Doll is very good. Her head shows some dulling to the black glaze of her hair, but she is free of any chips, cracks, or repairs. Hands and shoes are intact and in great shape. The original fabric body has darkened a bit from age, but is free of any significant tears or damage. The newer dress is clean and damage free. All pictures show the actual Doll that you will receive.
