Extremely large, 26", c1860-70, beautiful antique, German china, flat top doll

Description

Here is a very large, heavy and beautiful,
antique German china doll, measuring
about
26
inches
tall with a shoulderplate height of
8" and width of 8 1/2"
across with extremely well made, original wonderful, heavy muslin cloth, sawdust stuffed body with wonderful
original, long cloth arms with good stitched finger details (thumbs need a few stitches)and legs with shaped feet
(no leaking sawdust). She has a beautifully
molded forehead and temples with six sew holes
(denoting an early model), beautiful blue eyes with
molded eyelids
, red eyelid lines, nice brows,
lovely shaped (almost smiling) lips with dividing line,
beautiful evenly blushed cheeks with no rubs, lovely center-parted and deeply molded, black curls all around with very slight, normal wear to a few curls (
camera flash on top
). She wears her beautiful original long, flower- printed, cotton, antique gown with rows of hemline, horizontal pleats, fitted long sleeves and trim, original undies, slip and pantaloons as well as antique, brown knit cotton stockings. She
has no damages or repairs and is the one of the largest size German, antique china dolls that was produced. And she will certainly fill up a child's or adult rocking chair. She is extremely heavy and should be tied down to avoid falling over. Other dolls and items shown with her are NOT included and listed separately.
