Hello all,
Today we have a Disney treat for all. We did a bit of spring cleaning and ran across some Disney treasures in the form of some polo shirts from past WDCC events.
We have here from the theme park Fantasyland, we have "Fantasyland" on a X-Large Green polo, it has Merlin with Archimedes above the lettering "Fantasyland May 2001" stitched on the front and stitched on the left sleeve is the name of the event it is from, "A Celebration of Walt Disney Art Classics Walt Disney World". This was the third event to be called the WDCC (Walt Disney Classics Collection) where the Walt Disney Art Classics was held again at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. It had became an annual event that Walt Disney Classics Collection collectors looked forward to. The first three years were held at Walt Disney World and were themed around the Theme Park Attractions.
NOTE: On the front right of the shirt there are some loose threads, I do believe that it may have been from a pin that was attached to the shirt at the time it was sold to me during the event. (Please see included picture)
