This is a circa 1890s China doll. If you’re looking for an honest Antique China that hasn’t been messed with, and comes with an original dress, this may be the doll for you.
Hardly any paint rubs, and only a few factory flaws on her forehead, she’s in great condition for being over 100 years old. She has an interesting turned shoulder plate head, so that she’s always looking far away, contemplating.
Her face paint is skilled and beautifully applied. She’s on her original body. Her leather arm has a rip in it that I didn’t notice until I undressed her—it would be an easy fix with a little leather and glue.
She comes with an antique lawn dress (small rip and missing one button), embroidered wool under slip, and pantaloons.
