AUTOMATIC ANCHOR - Vintage Fishing Antique Cast Iron 6 Tine Two Piece - SCARCE

Offering an Antique Vintage Two-Piece Cast Iron Boat Anchor with Six (6) Metal Tines measuring 6 3/8" in length. It's stamped  AUTOMATIC ANCHOR on both side of the cast iron frame. It was meant to be thrown on an anchor line away from your boat or canoe and when the line is pulled the six tines are released and attach to underwater growth. A unique design and a sensational display item for someone's collection of antique and vintage fishing memorabilia......The Automatic Anchor is fairly scarce to find anymore and was featured on a page from the Carl F.
