This antique “sensu” fan was made 70-80 years ago and was a give-away form some shop in Kyoto. It has some hand writing on it in pen and a 4-digit telephone number printed on the bamboo
.
The struts are
smoked
bamboo. It is finely made and in very good condition with some natural age issues.
It measures a about 16” or 41cm across when open and is about 9" or 23cm long. It would be lovely as a display. See photos for other details…
