Antique Arms Away Goebel Half Doll Holding Rose, on Weighted Base

Description

At some point in her history, this 5 3/4" tall Goebel half doll was mounted on a weighted base and "dressed" in a lovely silk skirt under which she wears a slip made of old cutwork trim. She was made with a molded white strapless bodice with a yellow bow, posed with arms away, one hand holding a rose, and wears a multicolored plumed headdress. She is in excellent condition.  A former owner has attached a piece of paper to her skirt noting her markings and location in a well known half doll reference book.  She stands 12" tall.
