Antique 19" Germany china head in yellow dress & shoes VGC

Description

Very nice unmarked Germany china head (height 4.5", 4" across shoulders), head turns to the right, has very nice coloring with blue eyes, red accented eyes & nostrils, red lips, evenly blushed cheeks, black hair with a very few tiny color rubs china lower arms & legs with bright yellow shoes with gold top trim & raised side buttons (age unknown). Her hard stuffed full-figured body & upper limbs are in good clean condition (age unknown-likely 1950's). The lower back plate has an inherent rough glaze area and here is a faint hairline across the top of her right shoe. She has a padded wrap around her chest to create a bosom. Her bright yellow dress is made of a cotton homespun-like material, has a cape collar edged in white eyelet with white lace around the collar and around the skirt bottom above a 2" wide white eyelet ruffle. There is an inset of lace high on each sleeve, and lace edging the sleeve above the bottom eyelet ruffle.  Dress has a back placket with 2 hooks & eyes to close, and a long waist sash. Her undies include a white cotton chemise, ecru cotton petticoat with 4 rows of pin-tucks around the skirt bottom which is edged in tatting-like braid, matching long bloomers have lace edged legs & a drawstring waist.
