Antique 17" Germany low brow china head in nice outfit

Description

17" unmarked Germany low brow china head (measures 5" high, 4.5" across shoulders) in nice condition with blue eyes, red accented eyes & nostrils, nicely blushed cheeks, partially exposed ears, no cracks, hairlines or chips, has a few very small minor color rubs in the hair. The original  leather body is in fair, aged condition with age related soiling, is jointed at elbows, hips, shoulders and knees. There is visible leaking at one hip area (see picture)  The original lower bisque arms show three lower fingers missing on left hand and the same on right hand.  Left upper arm is good, right has a small hole just below the elbow and most stuffing has leaked out.  There is a very small hole in the right hip...please see pictures...where there is some leaking.  The legs have sewn-on black cotton knit stockings and black leather shoes (also stitched-on), and legs feel stable beneath.   She wears a pretty 1950's black/green/yellow  cotton print dress with black velvet edging at the neckline and sleeve edges, black lace at the neckline.  Three small brass buttons adorn the bodice.  She wears lovely antique undies including a white cotton petticoat edged in lovely cotton lace and white cotton long bloomers with cotton lace edging.
