Antique 12" Germany china head-vintage clothes TLC body

Description

12 "antique unmarked china head,3" high, 2-1/2" across shoulders, molded black hair, blue eyes, red accented nostrils, red lips, apple blushed cheeks, original china lower hands each incised: 5, original lower legs with tan bows on the stockings, green shoe on right foot, original leg on the left with crudely repaired unpainted shoe, craze lines above the shoe. The head, arms, & right leg have no damage The hard stuffed (excelsior) original body is coming apart  where the legs meet the body with leaking, and where the arms meet the cloth upper arm. It needs a dramatic repair or replaced. Her antique dress is made of a textured cotton-like fabric and trimmed in ecru cotton lace, has fabric pulls near the neckline and several areas on the skirt, is entirely hand stitched. The dress might be salvaged if you are very handy with a needle and have some antique lace. She also wears a very yellowed petticoat with pin-tucks and a drawstring waist & matching long bloomers, both in good condition and very much in need of laundering. The head is quite lovely with nice coloring, well worth restoring the doll.
