Nice antique Germany 21"china head (circ 1880) incised on back: 6, (head measures 5.75" high, shoulder-to-shoulder 4.5") has painted blue eyes, red accented eyes & nostrils,  apple blushed cheeks, most of ears exposed, molded black fancy hairdo, (several various small color rubs on the hair - please refer to pictures). The head is in all over good condition with no cracks, chips, or hairlines. The nose shows a slightly rough dark dot at the tip, and front plate has inherent rough spots near the bottom. The vintage china (age unknown) arms and legs with painted blue shoes with lack trim are in very good condition as is the newer stuffed cloth replacement body & upper limbs. She wears antique  undies including an ecru cotton petticoat with a waist button closure & hand stitched button hole, has 5 rows of pin-tucks and eyelet at the bottom, an ecru cotton long chemise with cotton lace hem edging, and ecru cotton long bloomers with 2 rows of pin-tucks & eyelet at the leg bottoms. Undies have a good amount of hand stitching and are all in good condition with some yellowing.  She is from the personal collection of the late doll artist Frances Reedy.   Buyer pays shipping, I accept Paypal.
