19th C. ANTIQUE BISQUE / CHINA DOLL BEAUTIFUL HAND PAINTED FACE & POSE

Up for auction is an original old bisque or china doll. Her counter part in a pink dress is listed in a separate auction. I'm not a doll expert but from what I've found, she's a half doll from the late 1800's... probably one of the "pin cushion" dolls at one time. How she stands on an old funnel instead of a pin cushion. From what I understand, quite a few of the pin cushions didn't stand the test of time. The writing on the inside (in red) reads: "Given to Judy by a neighbor 1948". Since the other doll I have listed has the name Joyce Fisher written on the inside, it possible the neighbor "gifting" the doll was Joyce Fisher and the recipient was "Judy". Either way, they are beautiful dolls!
The doll is in great condition given the age and I don't see any real paint loss or feel any chips. She is in as found condition and I haven't tried to clean her up... and all she needs is some cleaning. In fact, the red fleck on her right arm just came right off. I like to leave the cleaning to the professionals.
