💙 17" Antique Jointed Kid Leather Body c 1900 w Doll Kit Head

****A wonderful patron has alerted me that while the leather kid body is 1800s, the head was from a kit from Japan that was sold to make your own dolly- please understand this as i will continue with the auction with that knowledge.****
💙 17" Antique China Head Doll with Jointed Kid Leather Body~Exc & Lil tlc.
Her face paint is in lovely condition, no chips, breaks. The jointed kid body is in excellent condition, it is filled with excelsior.
There looks like a mark on the back bottom left of the shoulder plate~ please see last two pics, it's literally written in gold. I can't make out letters.  A small smear of that same gold 'paint' is on the back of her hair, i have no idea if it's supposed to be there or not~ please see last two pics.
I hope someone can put her back together again, she is a lovely doll!

Often these clothes and dolls have been stored for 50 years or more, they may have a musty odor and just need to be aired out in the sunshine- i try to do that before i sell them. I have multiple sclerosis and it effects my sense of smell, i may miss something...just let me know BEFORE OPENING A CASE!
